Eligibility Criteria WBCS Examination 2022:
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in the subject from a Government recognized University. Candidates who have any higher degree like Post Graduation from Government recognized organization can also apply for this post
Other Criteria:
Candidates should have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali. Not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali.
Age Limit & Relaxation:
For this post general category candidates, The required age limit for the particular post is between 21 years to 36 years as of 01/01/2022. age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 10 years for PWD candidates, as per norms. Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / Ex-Servicemen/ EC / PWD candidates shall be allowed as per extant norms, subject to a maximum of 45 years considering all applicable relaxations.
Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will undergo three-stage of the selection process. Firstly candidates will appear in a preliminary exam after qualifying in the preliminary examination candidates sit on the main examination which is descriptive type. Those candidates who are qualified in the main examination will call for a personality test.
