Educational Qualification:
For those posts, candidates should have M.E / M.Tech / MSc in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Conservation/ Irrigation Water ManagementWithB.E / B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering(OR)Integrated M.E. /M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Soil and Water Conservation/ Irrigation Water Management or M.E / M.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources/ Hydrology / Hydraulics / Irrigation Water Management With B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
(OR) Integrated M.E / M.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources/ Hydrology/ Hydraulics/ Irrigation Water Management.

Age limit & Relaxation:
For this post general category candidates, ages should be between 28 years to 40 years as of 01/01/2022. The maximum age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBCNC, 10 years for PwBD(UR),13 years for PwBD (OBCNC), and 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST) candidates  If your age is less than or above then you cannot apply. Selection Process:
The qualification is the minimum requirement and possession of the same doesn’t automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for an interview. A duly  Screening Committee shall screen the application receives for the base of the post on the given eligibility criteria and may fix criteria as it may consider necessary for shortlisting the interview candidates.

Payscale:
The Junior Research Fellows (JRF) shall be paid ₹31,000 per month with a possibility to be increased to ₹35,000/- as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) after two years, on successful completion and review of research work of the previous two years by a review committee. In addition to the above-mentioned fellowship amount, HRA at the prescribed rates in force
at the place of posting will be paid, if not provided with accommodation, and Medical benefits for self only will be allowed as per extant rules.
